The 146th Airlift Wing — California Air National Guard, Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, Port Hueneme — flies the C-130J Super Hercules out of one of the more unique guard locations in the country. The Pacific, the Channel Islands, and a wing that's been deployed and ready across every contingency California and the federal mission have asked of them. Airlift is the job, and the 146th has been doing it at a high level for a long time.
