Handcrafted Wood-Burned American Flag with Your Aircraft
Custom Hand-Burned American Flag — With Your Aircraft
Some careers are measured in flight hours.
Others are measured in missions, crews, and the aircraft that defined them.
This handcrafted wooden American flag captures that story — your aircraft permanently hand-burned into the union, built one at a time in Pennsylvania. It's not mass-produced décor. It's a piece meant to be presented, displayed, and passed down for generations.
What Makes This Different
- Hand-burned aircraft and stars — never printed or painted
- Solid wood construction with natural grain character
- Individually stained stripes for depth and contrast
- Sealed for long-term display and durability
- Built one at a time, by hand, in Pennsylvania
- Each piece is unique — just like the story it tells
Dimensions
Approx. 36" × 24" — a substantial, commanding display piece.

Materials & Build Quality
- Premium hat bases Richardson 112 trucker, Richardson 115 5-panel, Legacy Old Favorite 110, and Wide-Front 169 — each chosen for structure, fit, and durability on the flightline.
- Structured & unstructured options Mid-profile structured crowns for a sharp look; low-profile unstructured for an everyday wear feel.
- Patch materials Leather, faux leather, and woven patch panels — sized and positioned for maximum engraving detail.
- Snapback & adjustable closures Plastic snap, hook-and-loop, and fitted options depending on style — one-size-fits-most designs built for all aircrew.
Laser Engraving Process
- Precision CO2 laser engraving Each design is burned directly into the patch — not printed, not embroidered. The result is permanent, fade-resistant detail that gets sharper with time.
- Custom artwork & call signs Upload your own design or choose from our library of aircraft silhouettes, unit crests, and aviation motifs. Add a call sign, tail number, or unit designation.
- Veteran-designed, veteran-built Every design is reviewed and engraved in-house by a C-130 aviator with 25+ years of military aviation experience. We know the details matter.
- One-off production, every time No mass production. Your hat is made to order, meaning each piece gets individual attention from the workbench to the shipping box.
Care & Longevity
- Spot clean only — hand wipe the patch with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging or machine washing.
- Reshape while damp if the brim bends. Let air dry on a flat surface or hat form.
- The engraving is permanent — it will not peel, crack, or fade. The more you wear it, the better it looks.
- Satisfaction guaranteed If anything isn't right with your hat, reach out and we'll make it right — no questions asked.
